Everything began during my college days, back in 2005. I had this insane interest towards watching movies ever since I watched my first HD (then 720p) flick. During college a friend of mine used to get pirated movie cd’s from rentals, the movie was all dark and the audio was pathetic. After a few years, established rentals started selling DVD’s and Blu-Rays in malls nearby, and our format choices inclined towards HD/Blu-Ray versions, nothing less. I started collecting movies as a hobby, and believe me, at that time it was not a cheap hobby. At first I couldn’t afford much so I owned just a dozen of them, today I have more than a few hundred movies in my collection. I started keeping all the good movies that came my way. When I started working after college, many of my colleagues wanted movies. I had to list them my entire movie database, including a recommendation for each genre. Later the act of storytelling (reviews, sound effects, drama 😉) got boring and irritating. This is when the idea of blogging came to my mind, and WordPress was pretty common back then. I created this blog and shared the link with all my friends, they were all excited. This turned out to be a great idea.
Today Moviestudio is hooked to my social media channels, so when I post something, everyone knows 😉.
This blog is not entirely my work, the reviews are cited from the best websites all over the internet. The experience is truly mine though, and so are the ratings. So please keep visiting my blog, I’m planning to keep this hobby going for as long as I can. Thanks for the support!
