The Dog Problem (2006)

My Rating: 3.5/5 STARS
MovieStudio Quote >> “A sophisticated comedy. Enjoyed every bit!”

For struggling writer Solo (Giovanni Ribisi) a new dog is just what he thinks he needs to cheer himself up and get his life back on track. Unfortunately the dog is more work than he dreamed of and it seems that it’s attracting all sorts of unwanted attention from a bizarre cast of characters including loan sharks and dog collectors.

The Dog Problem
This is a quirky look at being young and confused in L.A. and is the second effort by actor/director Scott Caan who also plays Solo’s off kilter friend. It’s a humorous look at what it takes to get life back on track and discovering what it means to care for something outside the superficial and twisted world of Southern California.
